Services Offered

Personal Care and Health Support
I bring a level of experience, competence, and compassion that allows me to be attentive to all of my clients’ needs. The services that I am able to provide include, but are not limited to:
- Mobility support, transfers, fall-prevention oversight
- Assistance with Self-administered medication including oxygen and reminders and organization
- Monitoring for changes in condition and communicating concerns to the designated person or provider
- Pre and post-hospital and procedure support
- Basic wound observation (non‑clinical and within scope of practice)
- Safety checks and home risk reduction
If someone is considered a “patient” with a care plan, licensed healthcare professionals such as CNAs, LPNs, and RNs are specifically trained in safe patient practices in accordance with a provider’s orders. It is for this reason that I recommend that the appropriate level of care be considered when needed.

Daily Living & Household Support
Maintenance and other common issues can tend to build up around the house due to a person’s mobility and abilities. In addition to being a caregiver, I am a household helper, handyman, and skilled craftsman. When you hire me, you get:
- Light housekeeping (kitchen, bathrooms, laundry, linens)
- Meal preperation and grocery assistance
- Home organization and clutter reduction
- Minor home repairs (tightening fixtures, replacing bulbs, battery replacement, fixing simple issues)
- Installation of handrails and other safety devices
- Installation of accessibility ramps
- Technology Assistance (phones, tablets, TVs, application set up)
Many people don’t make appointments with companies because they aren’t comfortable with people in their home. My services include service call attendance and appointment setting.

Transportation & Errand Support
One of the biggest barriers to healthcare is transportation. Unfortunately, this includes screenings and other preventive healthcare. I’ll get you or your loved one safely to appointments on time, signed in and registered, and I’ll patiently wait during the visit.
I can assist with:
- Transportation to and from:
- Doctor and Dentist appointments
- Pharmacies – Prescription pickup and drop-off
- Grocery stores, shopping and other errands
- Physical therapy
- Social events and outings
- Veterinarian appointments
- Appointment scheduling and coordination
I’ll ensure a comfortable ride home and gladly stop at a pharmacy or other store to ensure that everything needed is available.

Companionship & Lifestyle Support
Families want someone they can trust with their loved ones. Individuals need human contact through people they can rely on to be honest, trustworthy and engaging.
Examples of services include:
- Conversation and social engagement
- Walks, exercise encouragement, pool monitoring, and outdoor time at parks and the beach (sunset)
- Games, hobbies, and mental stimulation
- Emotional support and presence
Scheduled safety check-ins also available to ensure ongoing wellbeing and early awareness of any concerns. Unfortunately, people sometimes aren’t checked on until the mailbox is overflowing and newspapers are piling up.

Home Safety & Emergency Preparedness
Hidden risks can go unnoticed and be dangerous. Identifying and correcting them can be the difference between years of continued independence, or premature long-term care. Living in Florida, we must all be prepared for emergencies and evacuation level events. I’ll provide a custom plan based on needs and location.
Services available include:
- Home safety assessments
- Fall-risk evaluations
- Expert emergency preparedness and evacuation planning
- Smoke detector, CO detector, and fire extinguisher checks and monitoring
- Pool Safety
- Basic first-aid kit setup

Administrative Support

- Help with understanding, organizing, and filing medical and dental paperwork
- Assistance with understanding letters from insurance companies like the Explanation of Benefits and Annual Notice of Change, and from Medicare and Medicaid
- Addition of front porch mailbox for people with disabilities through the US Postal Service

Why Hire Me?
Choosing the right caregiver to support a person isn’t just about tasks, it’s about trust, safety, and peace of mind. I bring a level of professionalism, calm judgment, and reliability that only decades of real-world medical service can build. I understand how to keep people safe, how to assist them confidently, and how to support their independence without ever rushing or overwhelming them. My approach is simple: early is on time, treat people with respect and the dignity they deserve, and provide steady, dependable help that makes everyday life easier.
